Like most , art was my favorite class in grade school, the only 45 minutes I wasn’t biting my nails or fidgeting and daydreaming.

Around 12 years old I began art lessons outside of school, learning the basics of all the different mediums and techniques.

While completing a degree in finance, I was beyond lucky to spend a year studying in Australia. Quickly giving my parents a heart attack I switched all my classes from business to oil painting and plein-air. While that year did not contribute a single credit to my degree, it gave me the answer to “If you could do/be anything what would it be”.

While I wasn’t brave enough to toss out business entirely for art, I make time for it everyday and continue to daydream of the possibilities ahead.

I am privileged to have the opportunity to share my artwork, and I hope it also serves as a reminder to be brave and reach for what might seem just out of reach.
